Private & sharing

Space, daylight, and a window that opens.

Two ways to live with us. Both come furnished, both have a full-height window and air conditioning, and both leave you floor space you can actually walk around in — which is rarer at this rent than it should be.

A private single room with its own bed, wardrobe, study chair and window

Private single

The whole room to yourself — bed, wardrobe, desk and chair, with clear floor beside the bed rather than a corridor with a mattress in it.

A sharing room with two beds set well apart, a large curtained window and daylight across the floor

Sharing

Two beds set properly apart, a lockable wardrobe each, and enough room that two people can both be up and about without getting in each other's way.

The rest of the house

Space you'd want to come back to.

Some of our properties are ordinary flats done well. Others are not ordinary at all — a double-height hall with a gallery running around it, a kitchen with real counter space, a jacuzzi in the bathroom. Ask which, and we'll show you.

Where you could live

Twenty-plus properties, all across Mumbai.

They differ more than you'd expect — how many people live in each, how quiet the street is, whether it's a bungalow or a floor in a building. Tell us what matters to you and we'll point you at the right one.

A sharing room with beds set apart, a curtained window and a warm accent wall

The bright one

Wide sharing rooms, colour on the walls, and windows down one whole side.

Boys & girls
A furnished common living room with seating and tall wooden doors

The family house

A proper living room, a dining table people actually use, and neighbours who know your name.

Boys & girls

Tell us your budget, whether you want private or sharing, and which part of the city you need to be in — we'll send what has space this month.

The neighbourhood

Somewhere your family would be glad to visit.

Our properties sit in settled residential pockets with wide internal roads, gardens and their own markets. Colleges, a metro station, hospitals and a DMart are all on foot — here is what is actually around you.

Plainly

Everything except the rate, and why.

The rate genuinely differs by property, by room and by how long you're staying, so one number here would be a number for a room you might not want. Everything else that touches your monthly outgoing is below, in advance.

Before you ask

The questions everyone asks.

Why isn't the rent published?

Because there isn't one number. Twenty-plus properties, two room types and different room sizes inside each mean an honest answer is a range so wide it tells you nothing useful. Message us with the area and room type you want and you'll get the actual figure for rooms with space — usually the same day.

What do I need to bring on day one?

Bedding and your own toiletries. Everything else — bed, mattress, wardrobe, desk, fan, air conditioning, kitchen, washing machine — is already there.

Is there a curfew?

The gate is secured overnight and the caretaker lets residents in. The exact timing differs by property and we tell you before you sign, not after.

Can I have visitors?

Visitors sign in at the door. Overnight guests aren't permitted in the girls-only properties. Ask us about the specific one you're considering.

How does the air-conditioning billing work?

Each unit runs on its own sub-meter, so you pay for your own units and nobody subsidises anybody else's.

Who do I contact when something breaks?

The WhatsApp number on this page. It reaches us directly, not a ticketing system, and you'll hear back the same day.

Do you have girls-only accommodation?

Yes — entire properties rather than floors partitioned off a mixed building, with the gate secured overnight and a caretaker on the premises.

Come and see one

Photographs only go so far.

Visit any of the properties. Walk the stairs, open a wardrobe, meet whoever's in the kitchen, and ask the people living there what they'd change.
